18s: DOB on or between July 1, 2006, June 30, 2007
17s: DOB on or between July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008
16s: DOB on or between July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009
15s: DOB on or between July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010
14s: DOB on or between July 1, 2010-June 30, 2011
13s: DOB on or between July 1, 2011-June 30, 2012
12s: DOB on or between July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013
11s: DOB on or between July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014
10s: DOB on or between July 1, 2014-June 30, 2015

 

We have to strictly follow the dates set by USA Volleyball. Even if your child is a student in a younger grade, their date of birth might require them to play with athletes that are in the older grade.

 

There are some cases where a child may be able to play in a lower or a higher age group. Each situation will be evaluated by Directors on a case-by-case basis, however, we generally encourage athletes to stay with the age group that they will graduate high school with.

 

Absolutely! Please know that makeup tryouts are to fill any remaining open positions after early and regular tryouts have concluded. There is no guarantee that a position will be open on your desired team by the time you participate in a makeup tryout. If you want to guarantee an opportunity to be evaluated for a club team before final selections are made, we highly recommend signing up for an early tryout.

 

Early tryouts are private evaluations conducted by one of our Directors during our summer camps. Early tryouts are recommended for athletes who cannot make their age group's tryout for some reason and do not want to risk a spot by waiting for a makeup tryout session. We will email the email on file at the end of your daughter's age group regular tryout session whether or not we are offering her a position.
